The work includes rebuilding the structural framework of degraded marsh near the Twin Pipelines and restoring resilient habitat by marsh creation and nourishment, which will create 229 acres of marsh, nourish 66 acres of existing marsh and result in approximately 206 net marsh acres after 20 years. Sediment would be mined from Lake Tambour and pumped into three confined disposal cells. |
