Islands Sea Cucumber Buyers and Exporters

The main objectives of the business are to provide quality products and provide better service delivered promptly. The business has been performing well in terms of good quantity and quality with a clear indication of growing bigger to meet demands locally and overseas in the coming years. Currently, the main business activity of this project is in buying and exporting sea cucumber or bêche-de-mer. The buying and exporting were not consistent from the initial stage due to the fact we did not have a regular local buyer at that initial startup with less than 50-80 kilograms. From 2018 onwards the business project did the groundwork to find local sea farmers and fishermen to buy the products and continue doing export. The current volume is now at 100-180 kilograms per export shipment and the project looks to progress in that manner going forward. Our main interest with the potential investor looking to invest will be in the following areas. 1. Market access - Domestic and International buyers) exporters and or manufactures 2. Access funding to production machinery, materials, and components 3. Technology and know-how expertise to upskill our youths (young workers) that wants to learn and be well equipped with the current trend in advanced technology and technical know-how.
