Islington New Homes Housing Partnerships

project in planning

The project involves Islington Council seeking to establish a long-term strategic development partnership to deliver residential-led schemes across multiple sites within the borough. Through an overarching partnering agreement, the Council intends to work with a selected development partner (or partners) to bring forward new homes over an anticipated 10-year period. The developments are expected to provide a significant proportion of genuinely affordable housing, funded through site value, alongside potential private sale or other tenures as part of viable mixed-tenure schemes. The estimated total gross development value is approximately £500 million (US$670 million), and individual sites would progress under separate development agreements once the overarching partnership is in place.
