1. Rationale: The key factor of the submitted project is the cross border cooperation between Cabaj-Čápor (Slovak republic) and Ecser (Hungary) with the aim to connect both villages in the field of culture (traditions). There are many inhabitants in Ecser who understand Slovak language but they do not speak actively. The village is situated near the capital. The village has been developing very fast. Many Budapest citizens has settled here in last 10 years. The project focuses on: -Establishing cooperation of both villages through sport and culture activities for inhabitants, -getting know both cultures and traditions (national feasts) -deepening knowledge about culture -deepening knowledge about traditions (presentations for adults and children of both villages) -participation of inhabitants in the events. organised by the partners. 2. Cross-border impact Cross border impact will be seen in: -intensification of the contacts between two villages and regions, as well as local organisations -next cooperation in the sense of the partnership -participation of target groups on activities (inhabitants of the partners, expecially children) -growth of interest in settling down in the villages 3. Target groups Cabaj - Čápor citizens children and adults Ecser citizens - children and adults Local institutions and organisations in Cabaj-Čápor and Ecser.
