It includes ground-based units with 100 KW lasers, mobile units (Iron Beam-M), and Lite Beam for drone camera disruption. Some units are deployed on Sa'ar class corvettes. The system is effective within a range of around 10 km but is limited by weather conditions. Israel is also developing an airborne version of Iron Beam to be mounted on fighter aircraft for missile defense in the boost phase.
