Description | The Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency (LVSWWDA) has reviewed and is amending the Itare–Litein Bulk Water Supply Agreements to transfer the water supply system to LVSWWDA for operation under a bulk water management framework. The agency has prepared for the takeover by replacing pumps and rehabilitating components. Additionally, LVSWWDA allocated funds for the Sh2.3 billion Bureti–Itare Water Project to improve access to clean water and sanitation services, funded jointly by the Kenyan government and the German Development Bank. |
