Description
Description | The Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency (LVSWWDA) has reviewed the Itare–Litein Bulk Water Supply Agreements to harmonize provisions and align interests of involved parties. The agreement document will be amended and signed to mark the start of transferring the Itare–Litein Water Supply System to LVSWWDA for operation under a bulk water management framework. LVSWWDA has already replaced pumps and rehabilitated components in preparation for the takeover. The intake produces over 8 million litres of water daily and will be managed by LVSWWDA as a Bulk Water Service Provider. The agency will sign Bulk Water Service Agreements with Bomet and Kericho counties to improve water security and resolve water bill disputes. |
