The medical center will span three bed towers at 16 stories each, with the ability to add a fourth tower later if needed. It will house 864 beds, 50 operating rooms, and 110 emergency bays. Construction is scheduled for completion in late 2027. IU Health plans to use funds from a $1.5 billion bond issue, expected to close July 1. Construction progress includes completion of the hospital's frame and ongoing work on the building enclosure and central utility plant. |
