The project involves the comprehensive redevelopment, expansion, financing, operation, and maintenance of Jordan's Jaber Border Crossing under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The selected private partner will be responsible for designing and constructing modern passenger and cargo processing facilities, upgrading customs and border control infrastructure, improving traffic circulation and logistics areas, and integrating advanced digital systems to enhance border management and security. The project also includes the development of supporting infrastructure, such as administrative buildings, inspection areas, parking and truck-staging facilities, utilities, and road connections. Once completed, the private partner will operate and maintain the border crossing for the concession period, to increase processing capacity, reduce border crossing times, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen Jordan's position as a key regional trade and logistics gateway connecting the Levant and the Gulf.
