Description | This project comprises the development of a 250 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant integrated with a 63 MW/126 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The initiative aims to advance sustainable energy infrastructure in the region and support Uzbekistan’s renewable energy goals. The project sponsor, Jakson Green, a new energy transition platform, is leveraging a credit facility of $35.37 million (INR 2.96 billion) provided by First Abu Dhabi Bank (Mumbai). This financing supports Jakson Green’s international expansion strategy across the Middle East, Africa, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and Europe, with Uzbekistan being the first beneficiary of this strategic growth.
