Jackson Water Metering Modernization and Maintenance Project

under construction

The city of Jackson, Mississippi, implemented a Metering as a Service (MaaS) model to replace and maintain its water metering infrastructure. The project involved installing over 65,000 residential and commercial water meters, deploying network collectors, data management software, and integrating with a new billing system. It also included training for city and customer service staff and acoustic leak detection implementation to improve billing accuracy, water loss management, and system sustainability without upfront capital investment.
