The project includes development of multi-modal terminals, intermodal terminals, navigational locks, quick pontoon opening mechanisms, and 53 community jetties across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal. It also plans for multimodal logistics hubs at Varanasi and Sahibganj to improve last mile connectivity and reduce logistics costs. |
