Description | The Rhode Island Turnpike and Bridge Authority is replacing the seven original bridge joints on the Jamestown-Verrazzano Bridge. Work on the westbound side is currently underway, with plans to shift work to nighttime hours starting May 31, 2026. The westbound side is expected to be finished by fall 2026, after which work will begin on the eastbound side. |
