Description
Description | Janta Power, a Texas startup, has developed next-generation vertical solar power towers that stack solar panels vertically to capture more sunlight throughout the day. These towers use smart tracking software to follow the sun's path from sunrise to sunset, producing about 50% more energy while using only one-third of the land required by traditional flat-panel solar systems. The towers are built to withstand winds up to 170 mph and have modular foundations for easy installation. Pilot programs are operating at Munich International Airport, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, and facilities managed by Aena. |
