Description | Nordex SE has been selected to supply and install 11 N175/6.X wind turbines for a 70-MW wind power project in eastern Serbia. The turbines will be mounted on 119-metre tubular steel towers, operated at up to 7 MW each, and equipped with an anti-icing system. Installation is scheduled to start in April 2027, with initial power generation expected in July 2027. The project is located in the Serbian Carpathian Mountains, about 175 km east-southeast of Belgrade, with an average wind speed of around 8 m/s at hub height. Once operational, the site will produce over 270 GWh annually. |
