Description | The project involves the development of the 1,760MW Java 1 combined cycle-gas turbine (CCGT) and floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Indonesia. Jawa Satu Power (JSP) and Jawa Satu Regas (JSR) – collectively called Jawa Satu (JS) – are the special purpose vehicles for the CCGT and FSRU components, respectively. Sponsors are Marubeni (40%), Pertamina (40%) and Sojitz (20%). Indonesian state utility Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) is the offtaker under a 25-year PPA. The project has a debt-to-equity ratio of 74:26. The equity amounts to $463 million. The $1,312 million debt package of the 25-year BOOT is split between three tranches: $604 million from JBIC; $400 million from syndicate of banks insured by NEXI; $300 million from Asian Development Bank.
