"Jean Monnet Chair “EU Law, Values and Digital Citizenship"""

ongoing

"The Jean Monnet Chair ""EU Law, Values, and Digital Citizenship"" (EULaVa) at the University of Macedonia, led by Professor Despoina Anagnostopoulou, aims to enhance the study of EU law, digital governance, and fundamental rights. The project focuses on expanding EU studies by introducing new courses, updating curricula, and integrating digital citizenship and media literacy into academic programs. It seeks to bridge the gap between academia, civil society, and policymakers by organizing conferences, roundtables, and guest lectures, fostering dialogue on AI regulation, disinformation, and democratic resilience. Additionally, the initiative promotes research, public awareness, and interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring a long-term impact on education, policy, and civic engagement in a digitally evolving European society."
