Description
Description | The present proposal aims at complementing some of the existing actions covering the analysis of the Economic Integration process in Europe at the University of Valencia and setting new activities focused on the future of the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) in a world characterised by more geopolitical uncertainty. These activities cover a wide array of specific objectives in terms of teaching, research and outreaching that fit perfectly the specific targets settled in the present Erasmus+ Call. This proposal encompasses a comprehensive suite of activities, with a primary focus on delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching courses. These courses aim to deepen knowledge in European Union (EU) studies within the official curricula of the University of Valencia, while also offering specialized instruction on advanced EU economic topics. The project prioritizes engaging key target groups, including higher education students studying EU-related subjects, as well as individuals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Additionally, the project seeks to generate knowledge through research conducted by a well-established research group specializing in Economic Integration. This research will provide valuable insights and policy recommendations to support a robust recovery in the EU. As part of its supplementary activities, the project aims to foster dialogue between academia and society. In collaboration with Europe Direct Valencia (based at the regional government) and the University of Valencia General Foundation (FGUV), it will implement a dynamic outreach program to engage the general public on EU-related issues. This effort will be carried out in close coordination with the European Documentation Centre and the FGUV, ensuring broad dissemination and public engagement. |
