Description

Description

JEF Europe is a European network with national sections and volunteers in more than 30 European countries and activities outreaching more than 5 millions Europeans on yearly level through campaigns, capacity building opportunities, social media actions and webzine. In 2022 JEF Europe will celebrate its 50th Anniversary and will alongside of celebrating, prepare for the future. In 2022, JEF Europe will continue to invest in innovative and inclusive approaches of European Civic Education happening in schools and also in all places where young people are. The Europe@School programme will continue growing as more national sections will start to implement the program. Capacity building will be done on different levels, internally will be aimed towards sections that have struggled most through the pandemics. Through a tailor made process they will be able to learn from their peers and restart their work. Additionally, an education work plan will be implemented on the topic of access to fundamental human rights. During the year, the webzine The New Federalist will strengthen its connections through the different language editions and ensure the continuation of the great work done by the volunteer young journalists and translators from all around Europe. New ways of informing citizens about European development will be piloted and used in the future. Through advocacy action and campaigns, JEF Europe and its members will ensure that “Our Europe” is developing, with citizens participation in its core. Young people will be motivated through diverse actions to express their views to the Conference on the Future of Europe, and keep policymakers accountable in following up their decisions. JEF Europe, its members and partners through common work, using lessons learned from the global pandemics will ensure our Europe developing based on a proper implementation of rule of law, equal access to fundamental rights to everyone and peace in the whole continent.
