Description | Project consists of replacement / upgrade of the Jerseyside stormwater collection system in the town of Placentia. The scope of this project is to resolve flooding issues in the town and, pending the results of a study, is expected to include replacement / upgrades of the existing collection system. Due to climate change and increase seawater levels, this area of the Town can be below high tide and installation of a stormwater pumping system is required as gravity flow can no longer be relied upon. This project aims to improve safety and decrease property damage in the town of Placentia. The project will provide a stormwater collection system lessening the flood occurrences in the area. |
