Description

Description

The project will provide improvements along a 2-mile section of existing trail extending from the Shelnutt Intergenerational Center to the Jester Creek Trail Head. The safety improvements along the trail would include the installation of 4 wireless call boxes and the clearing of the underbrush along the shoulder of the trail where needed for improved sight distance. Within the government services complex, the improvements will include ADA compatible sidewalks, and landscaping. The pedestrian path will extend 900 feet from the existing trail head to the library lawn, across the library lawn and through the existing covered path, which will be improved to better comply with ADA, then across the existing driveways via raised pedestrian paths, to the west side of the main driveway. A sidewalk will continue south along the driveway and then west to the parking lot of the Shelnutt Intergenerational Center.
