Description

Description

The 2025 program of AMSED and its network focuses on 2 work packages and 42 activities. Its framework aims to engage, connect, empower more than 43 240 young people, in particular with less opportunities and NEET, and civil society NGOs, fostering and supporting their inclusion and participation in democratic, social, civic and economical life from the local to the European and international levels, helping to raise their awareness of the EU's youth strategy and its 11 objectives, strengthening the links with policy, research and practice in the field of youth, highlighting a better knowledge of the situation of young people and youth policies in Europe and beyond (Impact studies, debates…) and facilitating the development and improvement of youth policies at European, national and local level. While bringing young people and their organisations closer to public authorities and stakeholders, the program also aims to improve their competences and employability, to empower them, to foster their online and offline daily practices, to develop and share youth work methods to reach and support marginalized youth (first aid on mental health…). It also prevents discrimination and promotes EU values among young people in Europe (freedom, democracy, equality…), promotes environmental sustainability (Sobriety/Circular economy…) and trains on the use of digital tools to learn and cooperate (e-platforms/e-modules). The program includes the dissemination of results, deliverables, the evaluation and recognition of the learning of young people and youth work in the field of non-formal and informal education. Some activities concern the management of the network (statutory meetings, impact surveys...), involving young people in decision-making. The program also focuses on the results of the network’s activities, with an impact extending to more than 120,000 interested, uninformed and disadvantaged young people, youth workers, NGOs, decision makers, and other stakeholders in Europe.
