Description
Description | The 2026-27 work program of our informal network is a learning journey aimed at informing, raising awareness, engaging, connecting and empowering per year more than 43 540 young people, in particular those with fewer opportunities, youth NGOs, cross-sectoral stakeholders linked to youth (decision-makers, SSE enterprises, researchers) while promoting the EU Youth Dialogue (EU youth strategy, its11 objectives, 11/12th Conference Cycles, elections…). To this end, appropriate frameworks and spaces for inclusion are created, for listening to all young people’s voices and needs, bottom-up decision-making mechanisms, offering opportunities for young people to engage and participate in democratic, political, social, economic, civic life within their community and in Europe (local meetings/partnerships, peer information, e-forums, consultations, recommendations, non-formal/informal education activities). The activities promote constructive dialogue, access to reliable information and critical thinking, while facilitating the development and improvement of youth policies/programmes from local to European level. The intercultural learning activities prevent discrimination, promote the 6 EU values, encourage inclusion, diversity, ecological practices, train in the use of digital learning tools, develop and facilitate cooperation, exchange of best practices, interactive & innovative youth work methods. Our program improves young people’s skills and employability, empowering them to act for Europe’s future in their local/transnational European initiatives’ inputs. The network’s operational management activities, involving its 17 members (statutory meetings) and young people active at all steps, enable the network’s results, activities, deliverables and recognition of learning to be disseminated, with an impact that extends per year to more than 120000 interested, uninformed and disadvantaged young people, youth workers, NGOs, decision-makers and other stakeholders in Europe. |
