Description

Description

Context: Our project takes place in a school located in a rural area, where opportunities to raise awareness about European themes are limited. We recognize a need to strengthen European engagement among students and the local community. Objectives: * Increase awareness of the values and principles of the European Union among students and the local community. * Strengthen European cohesion through intercultural exchange. * Support the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and/or those with disabilities. * Foster a sense of belonging to the European Union and an understanding of its mechanisms and values. * Stimulate interest in European mobility programs. Actions: * Educational workshops on European values and the functioning of the EU. * Intercultural exchanges with other European countries through Erasmus+ accreditation and the hosting of a European voluntary service volunteer. * Specific actions targeting young people with fewer opportunities and/or those with disabilities. Added Value: Your project is part of an internationalization approach, a central focus of your school's project. It addresses a specific need in a rural environment and targets a population often less exposed to European initiatives. It offers concrete opportunities to discover Europe, its values and cultures, and to develop a sense of European belonging. Links with the Call's Priorities: Our project fully contributes to the call's priorities by targeting young people in rural areas and implementing concrete actions to promote European values, strengthen social cohesion, and encourage European mobility. In summary, your project aims to fill a gap in opportunities in rural areas by offering students and the local community an enriching and inclusive European experience. It relies on educational actions, intercultural exchanges, and an openness to the world to develop a sense of European belonging and encourage civic engagement.
