Description | In July 2012, a local private company Chongqing Hiter Environmental Protection (Group) Company Limited signed an agreement with the Jiahe County Government to finance, build and operate pipeline gas in Jiahe County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province. The total investment was RMB 124.05 million (US$ 20.20 million) and Hiter had a 100% stake in the project. Construction commenced in August 2012, and by Oct 2013, RMB 11.82 million had been expended on the project. According to an official report, by the middle of 2014, substantial construction had been completed. Hiter was granted the agreement following an open bidding process. The concession term was 30 years. A SPV Jiahe Hiter Gas Company Limited was established to implement the project. |
