The project comprises of the construction and operation of a Sewage Treatment Plant in Jiangmen City, Xinhui District, Guangdong Province with a capacity to process 50 m3 of waste per day. The price of sewage treatment service unit will be 1.29 yuan per ton. According to the competitive negotiation documents, the project invested about 205.34 million yuan ($32 million). The PPP project operates in a combination of "BOT + 0 & M", that is, a combination of construction-operation-transfer and commissioning. The franchise period is 30 years (including the construction period and operation period, of which the construction period is about 16 months).
