Description | 10MW building-intergrated PV project developed by Changzhou Eging Photovoltaic Technology Co Ltd in Jintan city, Jiangsu Province, China. The project was approved by the local government in May 2010. Construction commenced in May 2010 and was completed in December 2011. Although the capacity of the project was initially set as 9.8MW, only 5.2MW was realized without reason given. The tariff is about 2.4 Yuan per twh with substantial government subsidy, much higher than the prevalent fee of .40-.50 Yuan per twh. Eging has a 100% stake in the project. The agreement was granted on a sole source direct negotiation basis. The total investment is RMB 80 million (US$ 12.23 million). |
