In June 2012, construction of the phase I of the 500MW PV power plant sponsored by a local private company Jiangsu Zhenfa New Energy Technology Company Limited commenced in Gulang County, Gansu Province. The capacity of the phase I was 50MW. The total investment was US$ 89.90 million (RMB 567.5 million) and Jiangsu Zhenfa had a 100% stake in it. The part of the project was completed in Nov 2013.
