Description | A Hong Kong based company China Water Industry was granted a concession agreement in January 2008 to rehabilitate and operate a potable water treatment plant with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters per day in Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province. The project was procured via direct negotiation. China Water Industry would operate the facilities for 30 years before transferring them back to the local government. The investment in government assets was RMB 75.14 million (US$ 10.75 million) and China Water Industry owns 51% of the project. |
