The project involves the investment, construction, operation of waste water treatment plant with a daily waste water treatment capacity of 50,000 cubic meters and pipeline network of approximately 49 kilometers and 9 pumping stations in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province of China. The project will be based on a Build-Operate-Transfer model for a concession period of 30 years and will provide services to Xiagang, Shengang and Ligang districts, as well as the Huangtu Town area. The project company is Everbright Water Treatment (Jiangyin) Ltd, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of China Everbright Water Ltd. The investment amounts to $ 70 million (CNY 477.72 million). The sponsor will receive waste water treatment service fees which will be calculated based on a unit price subject to adjustments for each cubic meter of waste water treated by the project.
