Jilin Heiyupao Jilin Power-Xiehe Wind Farm Phase III

The CPI and China WindPower Zhenlai Wind Farm Phase III was a 49.5MW wind farm located in Heiyupao, Baicheng, Jilin Province, China and developed by China WindPower Group and Jilin Power, a subsidiary of China Power Investment. The project was procured on an open bidding process. The concessionnaire was Jilin Power-Xiehe New Energy Co., Ltd. (established in July 2010, with a registration capital of RMB 100 million), in which China WindPower Group had a 49% stake with the remaining ownership belonging to the state owned Jilin Power Group. The total investment was estimated to be around RMB 461.90 million (US $71.50 million). From May 2011, some major calls for proposals for equipment were released by the concessionnaire. Construction commenced in Aug 2011 and the project came into operation in June 2012. At 25% of construction was achieved by Nov 2011.
