In August 2006, a Singaporean company Sinomem Technology Ltd. took over a sewerage treatment plant in Siping City, Jilin Province. The plant capacity was 90,000 cubic meters per day. The company would operate the plant for 30 years.
Sinomem Technology Ltd. invested RMB 90 million (US$ 11.29 million) and owned 100% of the project.
