Description	In Feb 2004, Panriver Investment, a subsidiary of Hong Kong based Panva Gas Holding Ltd, and Jinan Gas Company established Jinan Panva Gas Company to develop and operate the natural gas piped network of the Western district in Jinan city’s under the 50 year exclusive concession. The Western district had a population of 600,000 with potential for 150,000 natural gas connections. Jinan Panva Gas Company was created with a register capital of US$12.08 million (RMB 100 million) and was owned by Panva Gas Holding’s subsidiaries (51%) and state-owned Jinan Coal Gas Company. Total investment was RMB 100 million. Hong Kong based Panva Gas Holding Ltd was a publicly traded company in the Hong Kong stock exchange and was principally focused on commercialization of natural gas and liquefied petroleum in China mainland.
