Description | Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group signed an agreement in December 2008 to construct a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters per day in Jinbian County, Shannxi Province. The project was procured via competitive bidding. Beijing Sound established a project company Zhijiang Zhiqing Water Affairs Co. Ltd. to operate the facility for 25 years before transferring it back to the local government. The total investment was RMB 39 million (US$ 5.58 million), and Beijing Sound owns 100% of the project. |
