Description | In August 2012, a local private company, Sound Group signed an agreement with the Jingbian County Government to build and operate the phase II of the Jingbian County Wastewater Treatment Plant in Jingbian County, Shaanxi Province. The total investment was US$ 13.14 million (RMB 81.49 million) and the concession term was 30 years. The capacity of the second phase of the plant was 15,000 tons per day. Construction commenced in March 2013 and was substantially completed in December 2013. How the BOT agreement was granted was not reported, although it was very possible to be direct negotiation. Sound Group had a 100% stake in the project. |
