Description	The power plant has a generating capacity of 600-MW (2x300-MW) and has been fully operational since August 1997 (the first unit in February 1996 and second unit in August 97). The joint venture is formed by State Development & Investment Corp. (50%), Community Energy Alternatives, through Meiya Power Co. (MPC) (30%), Gansu Electric Power Construction Investment & Development Corp. (15%), and Gansu Electric Power (5%). A coal supply and transportation agreement was signed with Gansu Electric Power Fuel Corp. for up to 20 years. $84 million of the costs was provided via equity and the remaining US$253 million was obtained via limited-recourse loans. MPC was jointly owned by PSEG Global Inc (50%), the Asian Infrastructure Fund (30%), and Hydro-Quebec International (20%). In July 2004, Darby Asia Investors, Ltd. ("DAI"), acquired Hydro-Quebec's 20% stake for a total cash consideration of US$84.6 million. None None
