The project had a capacity of 40,000 cubic meters per day. Haichuanda had a 100% stake in the project and the total investment was about RMB 35 million (US$ 5.12 million). A project company, Jinshi City Haichuanda Water Affairs Co., Ltd. was established to work on this project. While the project was awarded through a competitive bidding process, there was no publicly available informtaion on the bid criteria and the number of bidders.
