Joint Network is an informal network of European organisations. Its mission is to provide young people, in particular those with fewer opportunities, with international mobility experiences to foster their active participation and sense of European citizenship. The network has been operating since 2014 and Associazione Joint acts as its secretariat. The 4 axes the network is planning to focus over 2023-25 are: 1. Include and Engage: offer young people, especially with fewer opportunities, high quality mobility experiences, reinforcing our partnerships and developing further methodologies and good practices. 2. Activate and Empower: foster actions of Active Citizenship among young people, empowering them to create their own projects through mobility experiences, in a participatory process. 3. Advocate: improve youth organisations’ influence on policy design by putting in place a structured process to exert influence on policymakers. 4. Promote and Connect: reach young people and youth organisations with all the international mobility experiences and with news about the EU policy for youth and the EU Youth Strategy. These are the strategic goals the network wants to achieve by 2025: 1 INCLUDE AND ENGAGE: Young people, especially those from highly vulnerable groups will have increased access to quality international mobilities that are relevant to them. 2 ACTIVATE AND EMPOWER: An increased number of youth organisations and young people will be informed about European youth policies and strategies and engaged in shaping programs and initiatives dedicated to them. 3 ADVOCATE: An increased influence of youth organisations in shaping policies and youth programs for young people, especially focusing on highly vulnerable young people, to better achieve the goals of the European Youth Strategy. 4 PROMOTE AND CONNECT: More youth organisations having adapted communication strategies to foster youth participation, advocacy and inclusion of highly vulnerable young people
