Description

Description

The preparation of this project is based on the will of 6 recognized HEIs members of EELISA European University to address needs analysis from the Alliance: development of curricula internationalization and of new joint degrees, driven by the needs of the society and stakeholders. The aim of our proposal Health EU Sci is to prepare an international research and innovation joint Master program in Health Sciences and Engineering. The master will be international, 2 years (120 ECTS) with the possibility for the students of studying in at least 3 Institutions. It will train students with the most relevant skills to design creative sustainable solutions and technologies for health, in a multidisciplinary approach with a particular focus on tackling sustainable development goals. Innovative teaching methods like challenge-based learning and team-working will be components of the program. The project will be organized to establish full Master programme and the joint mechanisms for its efficient implementation. It will develop associated joint procedures and mechanisms to ensure: high quality of the program and study conditions, delivery of accredited degree(s), excellence in program and the student recruitment worldwide to prepare high-skilled graduates. The high-level standards for quality assurance will be used during the project. The proposed training is based on the recognized expertise in education, research and innovation of the consortium, (Université PSL –FR, Istanbul Technical University -TR, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna -IT, University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest -RO, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid -ES, Zürich University of Applied Science -CH). It will contribute to the increase of high-level study opportunities for students, to the visibility of the excellence in education and research in Europe and to the dissemination of the European values. This joint work will have a role model in the design of new joint degrees within EELISA.
