The consortium headed by the African Cargo Handling Ltd (which holds 45% of the shares) invested US$ 21.4 million in a new cargo terminal at Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Kenya. The 12,000 square metre terminal will double the current capacity of 80,000 tones per year. The investment was financed by the Commonwealth Development Corporation (which holds 15% equity), BOC Cargo Services (which holds 10% of the consortium shares), the German Investment and Development Company (which holds 10% equity), by the Acacia Fund (which holds 10% equity), and Frankfurt Ariport (which holds 10% equity). In Feb. 2000, the cargo terminal was commissioned. None None
