3Flash Finland Oy specializes in the development of solar energy and hydrogen projects. The plan is to build a ground mounted solar PV project, JoSoleilTwo, in Joroinen, North Savo, with an expected capacity of 57 MWp (megawatt peak). The project is a significant renewable energy initiative, which will achieve ready-to-build (RtB) status in the first quarter of 2026 and commence commercial operations in the first quarter of 2027. Land access has been secured, and all environmental surveys are completed on July 2024. An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) was not required for this project, simplifying the development process. The building permit is applied in March 2025 and expected to be granted in January /2026. Taaleri Energia owns a private OHL interconnection to Fingrid's Huutokoski substation and has confirmed that the project can connect without capacity restrictions, securing full grid access, with the Grid Connection Agreement expected to be signed in Q1-Q2/2026 The project area is mainly flat, consisting of drained swamp forest terrain with peat and sandy till soil. The forest has been largely clear-cut and less than 20% of the project area remains as existing forest The soil is easily manageable, requires minimal preparation, and is suitable for standard steel piling foundations. The grid connection plan includes a connection to 13,4 km overhead line that is under ownership of Taaleri Energia. JoSoleilTwo is a pioneering project that utilizes technology adapted to northern conditions. The total budget for the project is approximately €30,7 million. The lifecycle environmental impact of the project includes approximately 360.607 tons of CO2 emission reductions.
