Description | JSW Group is expanding its business across multiple sectors including steel, energy, cement, ports, paints, and electric vehicles (EV). The group plans to increase steel capacity to 51.5 mt by FY31, expand JSW Cement grinding capacity to 41.85 mtpa and clinker capacity to 13.04 mtpa, scale up JSW Infrastructure cargo handling capacity to 400 mtpa by FY30, and grow JSW Energy to 30 GW power generation and 40 GWh energy storage capacity by FY30. Additionally, JSW is setting up a factory for EV buses and trucks in Maharashtra and an independent car factory for EVs, with plans to roll out a JSW branded car in three years. The group is also exploring localization of the EV ecosystem including lithium-ion battery projects. |
