Description
Description | "JUST AI-BLOC EU offers a hands-on, multidisciplinary training programme for judges, prosecutors, lawyers, and judicial officers, equipping them with essential skills for an AI-driven and Blockchain-enabled legal environment. The project provides targeted training on AI and Blockchain, focusing on their impact on civil and criminal justice, with practical experience using EU-level digital tools like AI-powered analytics and Blockchain-based evidence management systems. It also encourages professional exchanges, fostering mutual trust and supporting the development of a shared digital European judicial culture. The project aims to train at least 325 direct beneficiaries (judges, prosecutors, lawyers, and judicial officers), with additional 200+ beneficiaries accessing seminar materials via the project’s webpage and platform (www.eipa.eu). The planned activities include: • 2 one-and-a-half day - in-person Legal English seminars to enhance legal, technical, and linguistic skills - with 35 in-person attendees for each seminar. • 3 one-day - online ""Train the Trainers"" workshops to build capacity in interpreting regulatory texts and communicating specialized knowledge – with 25 attendees at each online ToT. • 4 one-and-a-half - hybrid interprofessional conferences to encourage cross-border dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the sharing of best practices with an additional half-day final conference closing the project connected to the 4th conference - with 45 in-person attendees for each conference. • dedicated platform on EIPA’s Moodle-based learning management system, which will support the distribution of materials to the participants in each project event. This platform will function as a resource hub for professionals seeking continuous learning opportunities in the areas of AI and Blockchain vis-à-vis the justice sector. Results: The project follows a structured capacity-building process, starting with Legal English seminars, progressing to workshops, and culminating in interprofessional conferences. Participants first develop essential skills, then learn to disseminate this knowledge within their institutions, and finally engage in cross-border discussions on practical implementation and best practices. The modular design offers flexibility, allowing participants to select sessions that align with their professional roles and interests, creating personalized learning pathways." |
