Judson F. Williams Convention Center Expansion

planned

The City of El Paso plans to expand the Judson F. Williams Convention Center in Downtown El Paso by acquiring adjacent properties to increase the venue's footprint. The expansion aims to add facilities such as a ballroom, kitchen facilities, and breakout rooms to better accommodate large conventions and conferences, addressing current limitations in space and amenities. The city has purchased five parcels totaling just under $8 million to facilitate this expansion, with further planning and design to be developed with consultants and architects.
