Description
Description | Trasnational distribution campaign of JULIE KEEPS QUIET (2024 Belgium) by Leonardo Van Dijl, with special focus on planning, coordinating and implementing theatrical releases of the film in 19 EU high, medium & low audiovisual capacity territories in collaboration with 17 distirbution partners between November 2024- April 2025. The core of the European added value of the project is to prolong and boost the discoverability of European art-house cinema from lower capacity co-production countries in the times where both distributors and exhibitors are extra vulnerable by providing the participating third parties with: • a consistent, efficient cross-border positioning of the film that will not harm national releases and an efficient set of basic promotional assets and expanded set of digital marketing tools and assets based on audience research study conclusions. • the extra logistic / coordination support by making the sales agent’s coordination team available and reacting to emerging needs, allowing distributors to structure more efficient and sustainable campaigns • crucial financial support from the Films on the Move program, allowing the distributors to plan for much wider releases and economically survive the post-pandemic recovery period and continue their work with high-quality, diverse, socially relevant European art-house titles. • encouragement to integrate pro-inclusivity/representation and pro-sustainability strategies into their daily activities and structuring of their national campaigns. |
