Description | In December 2014, a local private company China Tianying Inc. signed a Build Operate Transfer (BOT) contract with the Junan County Government to finance, build and operate a solid waste incineration power plant in Junan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. The total investment was US$ 36.12 million (RMB 240 million) and Tianying had a 100% stake in the project. The plant, once completed, could process 600 tons of solid waste per day and its power generation capacity was 12MW. Construction commenced in January 2016. |
