Jupiter Rare Earths Project Pilot Beneficiation Upgrade

Critica Limited has conducted pilot beneficiation work at its Jupiter rare earths project in Western Australia's Mid West, upgrading feed material by a factor of fourteen to produce a three per cent total rare earth oxides (TREO) concentrate. The process rejects 95% of the original feed mass, concentrating rare earth minerals into five per cent of the mass, with strong recoveries of key magnet rare earths. The pilot work was carried out in Vietnam by GAVAQ and forms part of a broader processing chain involving Australian groups ANSTO and Minutech for downstream processing and product testwork.
