K-State MIA Recovery and Identification Project

under progress

K-State’s MIA Recovery and Identification Project is working to bring American service members missing in action home. The project involves searching military records, DNA evidence, and crash site data to identify remains of missing soldiers from U.S.-involved conflicts over the past century. The project is tracking down surviving relatives for DNA samples to confirm identities and facilitate exhumation requests.
