Description | Kadapa Ultra Mega Solar Park is a large-scale solar power project proposed to be established on nearly 6,000 acres in Ponnampalli village, Mylavaram mandal, YSR Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh. The project aims to generate 1,000 MW of solar power with an estimated cost between Rs 4,000 crore to Rs 5,000 crore. The land of 465 acres and 54 cents has been leased to Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation Private Limited (APSPCL) for 33 years. The park includes a 250 MW project developed by SolairePro Urja Pvt. Ltd and will have dedicated sub-stations as part of the state's clean energy policy to achieve 5,000 MW solar power capacity. |
