Description | In March 2013, a Sichuan based private company Haitian Water Affairs Group was granted a concession agreement by the Henan Province Kaifeng New Distrct Administration Bureau to operate the Majiahe Wastewater treatment Plant in Kaifeng City, Henan Province. When the agreement was signed, the plant was still under construction. The capacity of the plant was 100,000 tons per ton. Haitian quickly registered a SPV, Kaifeng Haitian water Affairs Company Limited to implement the project. Haitian oversaw the construction process, which was completed in June 2014. The concession term was 30 years. Haitian paid RMB 200 million (US$ 32.56 million) to acquire the concession. |
